Rain or Shine, an exciting new street festival taking place this weekend in Newry city centre promises to be a very playful event.
Sticky Fingers Arts have taken to the streets to create this new event to bring colour, imaginative games and lost of creative fun to Hill Street over two days with Street Games, Arts and Craft, Digital Art, and Circus.

The festival has something for everyone and kicks off on Saturday and Sunday morning at 11am to 4pm at the event space on Hill Street.
“Rain or Shine was created to encourage families back outside to play, after two years of lockdowns and closures, we need to make up for lost time as children really missed out on simple activities like play, which is so important in every way, the most natural way to play is through the arts. The new street festival will provide lots of activities to suit all ages and all abilities and was created for everyone” Mark Revels. Sticky Fingers Operations Manager
The Sticky Fingers Arts team will be on Hill Street PLAYING, because we love to Play, with lots of making, creating, and doing as well as try your hand at Circus skills, giant Snakes & Ladders to Hopscotch, Skipping and Street Art. There is something for everyone, the young and the young at heart.
Rain or Shine takes place on the 26th an 27th on Hill Street from 11am to 4pm and is a FREE family event. No Booking required just pop along and join in.
This event is kindly supported by the Arts Council for Northern Ireland and Newry, Mourne and Down District Council.
