Newry's Noah Donohoe Mural

A mural was unveiled in Newry at the weekend in memory of Belfast Schoolboy Noah Donohoe. Noah disappeared in June 2020 after he left home on his bicycle on his way to meet friends. He never got there and his body was found a week later in a storm drain in North Belfast.

Street artists Conor McGinley and Yella G of Pigment Space created the mural to remember Noah on the gable wall of Emmanuel McEvoy's house on the corner of Catherine Street and Canal Street in Newry. Emmanuel's gable had previously contained a Save Daisy Hill mural.

Noah's mother Fiona recently launched a Twitter campaign to promote awareness of her son in the hope that many questions that remain about her son's disappearance might be answered.

As well as the artists and Emmanuel donating his gable wall, other people involved in the project include Gary McDonald and Ronan McGrath and those who donated towards costs.
