This St Patrick's Day tune in to RTÉ Radio 1 for all things County Down where writer and broadcaster Vincent Woods will explore the rich culture and identity of Co. Down in The County Measure.
The County Measure will uncover the vibrant arts, sports, history, heritage and diverse communities of the county.
From the beautiful beaches of the Ards peninsula; Newry's energetic youth; to Betsy Gray of 1798- Vincent takes a measure of all that the 'Mourne county' has to offer. On his travels around Newry he calls in to the Magnet Centre and the vusy U3A.
Co. Down is a land known for the arts. The programme will feature new and exclusive works from both singer Tommy Sands and writer Eoin McNamee.
