A South Armagh artist and radio host is set to take on a prominent role at one of country music's biggest nights when the Hot Country TV Awards take place in Cavan next week.
Kerry Fearon, a multi-award winner and Glór Tíre finalist, will conduct all Green Room interviews at the 14th annual Hot Country TV Awards, which take place at Hotel Kilmore, Cavan on 9 March. The interviews will be televised, with RTÉ Nationwide also covering the full event.
Later in the year, Kerry will return to her role as MC for the two main events at the Westport Folk and Bluegrass Festival, which this year marks its 20th anniversary. Some of the main shows have already sold out.
Kerry has also recently released new singles which have been receiving significant radio play, with her second album due later this year. It will follow her debut album Honky Tonk Girl, which received the Pure Country Album of the Year award at the Academy of Western Artist awards in Texas in 2020.
