Leading property agency Best Property Services have joined the Business in the Community movement as part of their commitment to excellence within the workplace and commitment to local community.
The organization, which was established over twenty years ago, is a unique movement that assists companies to improve the impact they have on their local communities through a number of training programmes and a tailored action plan.
Edwina Flynn of Best Property Services explains: “We have a history of over 100 years providing property services in the South Down area and throughout that time engaging with our staff and the community has been an important part of our growth. We are a company that is committed to being socially responsible, so membership of Business in the Community is a very effective way to turn commitment into action.”
“In the coming months we’ll be taking part in a number of their programmes including, Workplace Excellence, Environmental Excellence and Cohesive Communities,” she added.
Next month, Best Property Services and other Business in the Community members will take part in the national Give & Gain Day 5th June 2009, a national employee volunteering event. During this event, employee volunteers can make a positive social difference by sharing their time and skills to break down barriers to learning and employment.
