Newry Chamber of Commerce and Trade is hosting a ‘Meet the Local Media’ event on Wednesday, 27 November 2013 in the Bank Bar from 6pm-7pm.
The event will be hosted by UTV’s Marc Mallett and Newry.ie will be one of the local media representatives.
This evening is open to all local businesses who are interested in getting essential tips and advice from local press editors and reporters on how to get noticed by the media and how to advertise effectively.
The event will provide local businesses with the opportunity to network and meet the local media representatives that put together the most important business news in the Greater Newry area.
The panellists include representative’s from the local print, broadcast and online media, including Newry Reporter, Newry Democrat, Destination Newry, IUR FM and Newry.ie. The panel will provide an abundance of useful tips and essential information on scripting press releases, editorial deadlines, hosting press launches, effective advertising and PR advice.
This event is free of charge for Newry Chamber members and £15pp for non members. This event is generously sponsored by the Bank Bar.
