Members of Newry Chamber of Commerce and Trade had the chance on Friday to take a tour of Newry based Two Stacks Whiskey based at Chancellors Road just outside the city. The Whiskey bonding and blending facility was founded in 2020 by Shane, Liam and Donal McLynn who all have an extensive knowledge and experience in the globalised world of spirits. They opened their Newry premises in 2022. The business plan to open for tours for the public in the near future.
The 'Business Tour' event focused on the theme of growing your business through exporting and Deborah Johnston from Invest NI spoke on how they can help support exporters.
A big thank you to Shane McCarthy, Liam Brogan and Ronan Collins from Two Stacks for taking the time to show fellow members their incredible bonding and blending facilities which opened in Newry last year.
The brand is one of the fastest-growing businesses that has emerged from our area in recent years with their range of products currently being exported to over 25 countries, including 30+ states in the US. Their innovative 'Dram in a Can, a 100ml shot of whiskey in a can is taking the market by storm
Visitors were treated to a few tasters of Two Stacks products by Ronan Collins from Whiskey 4 Breakfast as well as lunch from Finegan and Son.
Speaking at the event Tony McKeown from Newry Chamber said "A big thank you to Shane McCarthy, Liam Brogan and Ronan Collins from Two Stacks for taking the time to show fellow members their incredible bonding and blending facilities which opened in Newry last year.
"It is astonishing what the guys have done in the past two and a half years and we have no doubt there will be further success to follow in the coming years."
