Cross Border Event Deadline

Business women from Down, Armagh and Louth will come together to celebrate International Women’s Day 2009 at a special cross border event on the 5th March with Irish author and former banker Sheila O’Flanagan.
The event, organised by the Enterprising Women’s Network (Armagh and Down) in partnership with Network Louth and Louth County Enterprise Board, follows on from the success of last year’s business luncheon in Newry which attracted over 200 guests.
Event sponsors include EWN members Bank of Ireland, Prestige Employment Solutions and Younique Clinic, College & Spa.
Guest Sheila O’Flanagan is a former high flyer in finance turning to fiction after a successful career as a banker and chief bond dealer in Dublin’s IFC. Today Shelia is recognised as one of Ireland’s best selling literary exports and she remains a financial columnist with the Irish Times.
Network Coordinator Margaret Andrews says: “Shelia is a highly engaging speaker and has had an interesting career path. Attendees at the event will also have a great opportunity to network on a cross border level and develop key contacts during the event. I’d encourage any one else interesting in attending to get in touch as soon as possible as the deadline is approaching.”
