Dundalk Chamber of Commerce in partnership with Newry Chamber are holding a Cross-Border Tourism Conference in Carlingford next week.
The Conference at the Four Seasons Hotel in Carlingford is about growing and showcasing local tourism businesses, with speakers talking about travel trends, marketing, social media, collaborating with different regions and bringing visitors to the area.
Attendees will hear from speakers who are experts in their respective fields and have the opportunity to network and collaborate with tourism providers from both sides of Carlingford Lough and beyond.
Kieran Swail, Tourism Innovation Technology Expert at Southern Regional College will chair the conference
Oonagh Massette, Project Director of Celtic Routes will speak about the Ireland Wales Co-Funded Celtic Routes Project involving three counties in Ireland and three in Wales.
Wayne Denner, Director of 10th Step will speak about online community engagement and emerging trends in social media.
John Fitzgerald, Director of Glass Box Events works with Irish DMC Clients in creating high end gala experiences for clients and corporations.
Pól Ó Conghaile, Travel Editor at The Irish Independent will speak about travel trends in 2023.
Also in attendance will be Frazer Copeland, Chief Executive of The Outdoor Capital of the UK.

There will be a networking lunch on the day from 1pm - 2pm where you will have the opportunity to meet the speakers on a one-to-one basis and visit the exhibitors.
