Entries for the 2023 Greater Newry Business Awards close * Wednesday 10 May at midnight so if your business hasn't yet entered, get your skates on as the time is running out.
Businesses located within the Newry, Mourne and Down District Council area can enter in up to 4 categories. New Charity and Diaspora categories have been added within the awards this year.
Since their inception in 2004 the awards have become the district’s premier celebration of business excellence. These prestigious awards will recognise, celebrate and reward the success of local businesses and individuals at the top of their game.
Speaking about the potential for exposure businesses can receive via the awards Julie Gibbons, President, Newry Chamber of Commerce and Trade said it was one of her favourite events in the Chamber calendar.
"These awards give us an opportunity to profile and showcase the very best of Business in this area. We have a huge profile across the whole of Northern Ireland with these awards and indeed into the rest of Ireland." she explained.
This year for the first time Newry.ie is sponsoring a class at the awards. We look forward to presenting the winner in the 'Best Place to Eat (Unlicensed) category. Columba O'Hare, Newry.ie said "There's an incredible number of great places to eat throughout our district and Newry.ie is very happy to sponsor this particular category and help give the local businesses some well deserved praise and recognition at the awards. The Greater Newry Business Awards are an excellent place to showcase your business so if you haven't already entered, I would really urge you to do so."
