Killeavy Castle Estate Welcomes first In-House Artist

Katarzyna Bartczak residing in Annagassan, Co. Louth will become the first in-house artist to bring her unique vision and creativity to the award-winning Killeavy Castle Estate. With her Polish heritage and unique artistic perspective, Bartczak is expected to infuse the estate with new creativity, drawing inspiration from its rich heritage, landscapes, and the surrounding beauty of Slieve Gullion, Co. Armagh.
The introduction of an in-house artist marks an exciting new chapter in the hotel’s evolving legacy. Katarzyna, known for her diverse artistic range that spans across several years, has developed a special body of work called ‘Inspired by Killeavy’ which captures the estate’s beautiful, unique energy and tranquil surroundings.

Katarzyna has spent the last year immersing herself in the surroundings of Killeavy, drawing inspiration from its woodlands, and the story of the estate’s transformation, from a historic castle to an award-winning hotel. Her artwork, which will be on display in Killeavy Castle Estate offers guests a unique opportunity to experience the beauty of Killeavy through the eyes of a talented artist.

Guests in Killeavy Castle Estate will have the chance to view Katarzyna’s exclusive collection, ‘Inspired by Killeavy’ throughout their stay and purchase bespoke pieces.

Guests can also experience Katarzyna’s painting every Thursday and Sunday evening in the Art Gallery at Killeavy Castle Estate, where they can relax with a drink and watch the resident artist at work.
