Newry-based Water Solutions Ireland has won the One-to-Watch Award at the Business in the Community NI Responsible Business Awards 2026. The award was presented at a ceremony at the ICC Belfast 17 September, recognising the company's progress in developing and embedding responsible business throughout the organisation.
The One-to-Watch Award recognises organisations that have made significant progress in developing and putting responsible business strategies into practice, and for Water Solutions Ireland this includes continued investment in its people and apprenticeships, community engagement, social value initiatives and sustainability. The company has continued to develop apprenticeship and graduate opportunities, while supporting local communities through volunteering, education and social value projects. The company was shortlisted alongside Avove Ireland, Energy Saving Trust Ltd and McQuillan Companies.
Patrick Cunningham, Contracts Director at Water Solutions Ireland, said: "We're absolutely delighted to win the One-to-Watch Award. It's a great recognition of the work happening across Water Solutions Ireland and, most importantly, the people behind it.

The award adds to a successful year of recognition for Water Solutions Ireland, which continues to grow its team with plans progressing for the completion of its new office development in 2028.
