The deadline for entries for this year's Greater Newry Business Awards has been extended to Friday 18 July due to a high number of requests seeking some more time to get their entries in as a result of holiday pressures.
This year marks the 10th edition of these prestigious biennial awards which recognise, celebrate and reward the success of local businesses, organisations as well as individuals at the top of their game.
Newry.ie are once again sponsoring the Best Place to Eat (Unlicensed) Category of the awards and look forward to presenting the winner on the night. Columba O'Hare, Editor Newry.ie said "Newry and its surrounds have some absolutely amazing places to eat, with the quality of food on offer and the quality of service of the very highest standard. We want to help showcase these inspirational businesses, many of which are family run. Whether you are running an eatery in the area or just want to praise one make sure you nominate the business and help give our district's Best Place to Eat the credit it deserves."
The Greater Newry Business Awards have become the district's premier celebration of business excellence since their inception back in 2004 and are supported by this year's two Principal Sponsors, NIE Networks & Newry, Mourne and Down District Council as well as our 24 Category Sponsors.
Newry Chamber of Commerce and Trade want to hear your success story and celebrate your business and all the individuals driving your pursuit of excellence and growth, so we do urge you to put your best foot forward and please use the additional time to perfect your entries over the next 10 days and get them in before the new deadline of Friday 18th July.
There are 24 categories to choose from and you can enter up to a max. of 4 categories. Entry is open to all organisations within the NMDDC area
