The Site of the Tesco Extra store on the Downshire Road has been sold for the incredible sum of £30 Million pounds to Scottish Widows Investment Partnership suggesting that confidence in the business economy locally is on the up.
The development was sold by Turkington Holdings Ltd and includes the 90,000 square foot complex leased to Tesco for 25 years.
The Tesco store opened in June this year.
The site went on the market with an asking price of £27.3 million!
