St Colman’s College string quartet photographed on winning The Ellie Neary Memorial Cup in Class 37 of Newry Musical Feis. Saint Colman's College pupils certainly got their fair share of the Silverware from Newry Musical Feis with wins in the Woodwind Ensemble, String Quartet, Boys Solo, Plain song and Choir sections. One of the solo winners was Conor McGlone who came first in the Boys Solo class for those aged between 12 and 16. St Colman’s College saxophone ensemble, winners of The Geordie Berry Cup for Woodwind Ensemble 18 yrs and under in Class 64 of Newry Musical Feis.

The musical future of the College certainly looks in safe hands. Conor McGlone, a pupil of St Colman's College is photographed with The Tony McAlinden Perpetual Challenge Cup on having gained first prize in Class 82: Boys Solo (Over 12 & Under 16 years).
