The annual awards ceremony for the ‘Community Safety Youth Competition’ was held on Thursday 3rd March in The Bank, Newry.
Newry High Students designed and created a story board based on a range of topics to promote safety awareness within our community.
Two ideas were chosen and were scored on creativity, the impact of the message in the story and the ability for the storyboard to be adapted to a short film.
Hannah Kennedy won 1st prize and Caithlin Kearns won 4th prize. Both students and their parents were invited to the awards ceremony.
