St Ronan's win Credit Union School Quiz

The Irish League of Credit Unions Chapter 4 held their annual School Quiz at the weekend in the Armagh City Hotel with many local schools competing.

Local winners included St Ronan's Primary School and Abbey Grammar School.

The winners were

Competition A

Winners: St. Ronan’s P.S., Newry. Team: Tiernan Kearns, Callum Byrne, Aine Hughes and Sadhbh Sweeney.

Runners up: Ballydown Primary School, Banbridge. Team: Ruby McNiff, Harriet Blair, Enda McDermot and Niall Malcolmson 

Third place: St. Dallan’s, Warrenpoint. Team: Eanna Carr, Sarah Daly, Ethan Kelly and Erin Keen 

Competition B 

Winners: St. Louis’ Kilkeel. Team: Padraig Cunningham, Ciaran Bradley, Niamh McDowell and Aoife McQuaid

Runners up: Abbey Grammar, Newry. Team: Cian Toal, Tom Comer, Sean Rock and Caleb Quigley

Third place: St. Joseph’s, Donaghmore. Team:: Michael Morrow, Cara O’Brien, Finn Murray and Thomas Devlin
