St Mary’s School’s Nutritional Action Group recently held a special Zumba class where all proceeds were donated to the Action Cancer Think Pink campaign. Every October Action Cancer runs the ‘Think Pink’ initiative to support Action Cancer breast awareness services.
The Zumba class was led by Paul Burns from Academy Dance Studios Newry.
The team at St Mary's were delighted with the support and everyone agreed that it was a great way of having fun and supporting those affected by cancer. A massive thanks for all those who supported this cause, the total of £150 was raised.
Michelle from Action Cancer came in to receive the cheque on behalf of Action Cancer and praised St Mary’s for their ongoing commitment to raising health issues and raising much needed funds for those affected by Breast Cancer.
