Tomorrow Thursday 30 November from 4-7pm Bolster Community at Whitegates in Newry are presenting an event that combines the joy of festive shopping with the power of social impact. Join them as they bring together a diverse group of social enterprises, all under one roof, for a memorable experience.
Why choose ordinary presents when you can opt for gifts with purpose this holiday season? All are invited to explore this unique shopping opportunity and be part of something special.
At Bolster Community, the organisation leads by example in the third sector. They believe in the power of collaboration and meaningful partnerships. While they can’t solve the world’s or Northern Ireland’s challenges alone (although knowing them, they’d give it a good go!). That’s why they’ve decided to shine a spotlight on their neighbours in the Newry, Mourne and Down District, showcasing the incredible impact they’re making on both our local community and beyond.
Collaborating with Work West,they are bringing guests from Belfast to the event, who are eager to step outside the city’s hustle and bustle to discover what’s happening in our neck of the woods. A couple will also exhibit and add to our range of goods on offer. However, before the festivities begin, this group will enjoy an exclusive tour of the Bolster facilities, where they’ll gain firsthand insights into their work, the challenges confronted, and the solutions achieved. Additionally, Work West has generously provided the delightful light nibbles for all the guests.
