Newry & District Motor Club are holding a meeting tonight, 23 June in Newry to help document the history of the club since its beginnings in the 1920's.
Current and past members are very welcome to tonights meeting which takes place in the Mourne Country Hotel, Newry at 7.30pm.
Desmond O'Loan, Chairman, NADMC said :In recent years we have struggled to keep the club alive and have decided to try and document the history before many of the older members disappear. To this end we have organised a gathering in the Mourne Country Hotel on Monday 23rd June at 7.30pm, inviting current and previous members to gather, bring memorabilia and reminisce.
"Out of this we hope to gather historical information, at risk of being lost and document the clubs history."
