Billed as "The New Sound of Newry" the upcoming Newphonic Concert which will be held on Saturday the 29th of June at McClelland Park was launched today in the Boardroom at Newry and Mourne District Council.

The promoter Mama Concert Entertainment spelt out their hope of this being a signature music festival for Newry, to compete equally on the stage occupied at present by Oxegen, Belsonic, Tennants Vital etc and while the June concert is being held at McClelland Park, they hope to build on this years success with future concerts being located at the Albert Basin.

This years concert is headlined by MTV Award Winner Alexandra Stan with support from Charlie Brown, Starboy Nathan, DJ Mix, Ryan Dolan with Zenemy DJ's and others.
