Newry Museum is once again hosting their popular Summer Workshops, packed with creative activities for children.
Due to overwhelming demand last year, they're now running two weeks of workshops to ensure more children can join the fun!
Your child will dive into a world of artistic discovery, inspired by the fascinating main and temporary exhibitions at The Museum. Their engaging sessions will spark their imagination as they explore a variety of exciting crafts, including:
- Painting their very own masterpieces on individual canvases
- Crafting unique stories using vintage-style stickers and collage pieces
- Moulding and shaping their ideas with clay
- Designing and creating their own beautiful jewellery
Workshop Dates
Week 1: Tuesday 29 July – Friday 1 August
Week 2: Monday 4 August – Thursday 8 August
11:00 AM – 1:00 PM daily
Cost: £10 per child
Capacity: Limited to 10 children per session.
Ages: Suitable for children aged 7-12.
Please note: The crafts for Week 2 will be the same as Week 1.
To make the most of the creative fun, the museum recommend children wear clothes that can get messy! There will be a short break at 12 noon for those who wish to bring a small snack.
If you plan for your child to attend unaccompanied, please complete the Children's Registration Form and return it to the Museum as soon as possible to secure their place.
Spaces are limited and will fill up quickly, so don't miss out on this wonderful summer experience!
