The structure de dhíth + ar is one way of expressing need.
Below are examples of the structure de dhíth and the forms of ar used for each person (I, you, she/he, etc.)

Sometimes we say go and sometimes go dtí to express to in the sense of going to a place.
If the word an or na is the first part of the placename in Irish, e.g. an Longfort, an Dún, an Clár, we use go dtí.
In other cases we simply say go. If this go is followed by a name beginning with a vowel, a <h> sound is added, e.g. go hInis, as it is easier to say this.
