Death Notice
Durkan (Newry) Carmel (née Forde) died 11th March 2025 peacefully surrounded by her loving family. Beloved wife of the late Aengus R.I.P. devoted mother of Brendan, Patricia, Aileen, Pat, Des and the late Mary R.I.P.
Her remains will repose at her late residence 1 Gantry Lane, Newry, today (Wednesday) and tomorrow (Thursday) from 12noon until 10pm. Requiem Mass for Carmel will be celebrated on Friday at 1.30pm in St. Brigid's Church, The Meadow, followed by cremation on Saturday.
Our Lady Queen of The Most Holy Rosary pray for her.
Deeply regretted and sadly missed by her sons, daughters, son-in-law Andy, daughter-in-law Nichola, grandchildren Finn, Caolin, Patch, Stefan and Ava, also her brothers Martin and Tom, sister Mary, sister-in-law Bridie, nieces, nephews and the entire family circle.
