Death Notice
Heaney (Newry) Margaret May (née McElroy) died October 26th 2026 peacefully surrounded by her loving family. Devoted mother of Rosita and Ian (Barbara).
Her remains will repose at her late residence, 3 Greenwood Villas, Old Warrenpoint Road, Newry, tomorrow (Wednesday) for family and friends from 2pm until 4pm and 7pm until 8pm. House strictly private outside these times. Requiem Mass for Margaret May will be celebrated on Friday at 10.30am in S.S. Patrick & Colman's Cathedral, burial afterwards in Monkshill cemetery.
Our Lady Queen of The Most Holy Rosary pray for her.
Deeply regretted and sadly missed by her son, daughter, Ian’s partner Barbara, Barbara’s sister Sandra and brother William (McMillan), the entire family circle and her lifelong friend Perpetua (Clarke).
