Death Notice
Hughes (Newry) Michael (Taxi) died peacefully on 13thAugust 2023 surrounded by his loving family. Devoted father of Benn, loving son of the late Benedict (Benny) and Rosaleen (Rosie) R.I.P. and treasured brother of Peter, Helen, Desy, Aidan and the late Valerie and Angela R.I.P.
His remains will repose at his late residence, ‘Athmore’, 9a Arthur Street, Newry, today (Monday) from 4pm until 10pm and tomorrow (Tuesday) and Wednesday from 10am until 10pm. Removal on Thursday at 9.15am for 10.30am Requiem Mass in S.S. Patrick & Colman's Cathedral, followed by cremation afterwards in Dardistown Crematorium, Dublin.
Our Lady Queen of The Most Holy Rosary pray for him.
Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his son, Mary, Shay, also his brothers, sister, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and entire family circle and friends.
