Death Notice
Mathers (Newry) Anne (née McCann) died 30th March 2026 peacefully surrounded by her loving family. Beloved wife of the late Malachy R.I.P. and devoted mother of Bernadette (Steve), Teresa (Stephen), Helen (Gary), Mary (Karl) and the late Baby Seamus.
Her remains will repose at her late residence, 63 Derrybeg Drive, today (Tuesday) from 5pm. Funeral Service for Anne will take place on Thursday at 2pm in St. Brigid's Church, The Meadow, burial afterwards in Monkshill cemetery.
Our Lady Queen of the Most Holy Rosary pray for her.
Deeply regretted and sadly missed by her daughters, sons-in-law, grandchildren Lauren, Ayla, Aaron, Tiarnan, Abbie, Ethan, Eva and Lochlan, great-granddaughter Róisín, also her brothers Mickey, Pat and Billy, sisters Mary and Patricia, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and the entire family circle.
