Death Notice
McGivern (Newry, formerly of Barcroft Park) Margaret (née Mackin) died July 8th 2026 peacefully in Craigavon Area Hospital surrounded by her loving family. Beloved wife of the late George R.I.P., loving mother of Ann, Sean (Deborah), Thomas (Janice), Eamon, Briege (Jim), Geraldine (Bene) and Georgina (Kenny) and treasured sister of Sr. Geraldine (Mackin), Elizabeth (Kennedy) and the late Agnes (Farrell) and Aloyisus (Mackin) R.I.P.
Her remains will repose at Paul McEvoy’s Funeral Home, 80 Canal Street, Newry, today (Thursday) and Friday from 3pm until 8pm. Requiem Mass for Margaret will be celebrated on Saturday at 12 noon in The Church of the Assumption, Drumalane, burial afterwards in Monkshill cemetery.
Our Lady Queen of the Most Holy Rosary pray for her.
Deeply regretted and sadly missed by her sons, daughters, son-in-laws, daughter-in-laws, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, brother, sister, brother-in-law Patsy, nieces, nephews and the entire family circle.
