Death Notice
McKernan (Newry) Damien died September 28th 2025 peacefully surrounded by his loving family. Devoted husband of Rosaleen, loving father of Denise, Damien, Niall, Martin and Pamela and treasured brother of the late Liam R.I.P.
His remains will repose at his late residence, 13 Lisdrum Avenue, today (Monday) from 6pm until 9pm and tomorrow (Tuesday) from 12noon until 8pm. Requiem Mass for Damien will be celebrated on Wednesday at 12.30pm in St. Catherine’s Church, Dominic Street, burial afterwards in Monkshill cemetery.
Our Lady Queen of the Most Holy Rosary pray for him.
Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his wife, sons, daughters, son-in-law Paul, daughter-in-law Una, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, niece and the entire family circle.
