Death Notice
Rafferty (Newry) Emmett died April 30th 2026 peacefully surrounded by his loving family. Beloved husband of the late Gwyneth R.I.P. devoted father of Matthew, Leonard, Tracey, Samantha, Parry and Emma and treasured grandfather to his grandchildren and the late Baby Adam and Melanie.
His remains will repose at his late residence, 21 Benmore Court, today (Friday) from 4pm until 9pm and tomorrow (Saturday) and Sunday from 12 noon until 9pm. Removal on Monday at 9.40am for 10.30am Requiem Mass in S.S. Patrick & Colman's Cathedral, burial afterwards in Monkshill cemetery.
Our Lady Queen of the Most Holy Rosary pray for him.
Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his sons, daughters, son-in-law Declan, daughter-in-law Roseann, grandchildren, great-grandchildren nieces, nephews and the entire family circle.
