Death Notice
Rooney (nee Larkin) (Newry) died 7th September 2025. Sheila R.I.P. Wife of the late Joe and much loved mother of Cora, Shauna, Gerard, Elaina, Róisín and Sinéad. Sister of Margaret Surgenor and the late Brendan.
Sacred Heart of Jesus have mercy on her soul.
Her remains will repose at her home 21, Chapel Hill, Newry, BT34 2EL on Monday from 6.00pm until removal at 10.00am on Wednesday for 10.30am funeral mass in St. Patrick & Colman’s Cathedral, Newry, burial afterwards in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
Deeply regretted by her sorrowing daughters, son, sons in law & daughter in law, John, Duncan, Richard, Brian and Karen, sister, sisters in law, brothers in law, grandchildren, Joseph, Kieran, Maible, Patrick, Mary, Meabh, Ailis, Oonagh, Eimear, Rohan, Sarah and Francis, cousins, nephews, nieces, family circle & friends.
