Write a commentFollowing an assault on Monaghan Street in the early hours of Monday morning Police in Newry are appealing for information from anyone who was in the vicinity.
Constable Philip Kelly said: “Around 2am on Monday, 8 June, a 25 year old male was involved in a fight. He sustained an injury to his head.
“We are keen to speak to a male who was in the area around this time wearing a purple hoody or anyone who witnessed this incident. We can be contacted in Newry on 101, quoting ref: 81 080615.”
