Write a commentA sum of cash has been stolen in a burglary of commercial premises on the Bog Road in Attical in the early hours of this morning. Police have appealed for information from anyone who might have seen any suspicious activity.
It's thought that two men broke in to the premises around 3:45am, Tuesday, 4 April before making off in a silver saloon vehicle towards the Hilltown area.
They were described as being 5’10” thin and wearing hats. One of the males hurt appears to have been walking with a limp; it is believed he was wearing tracksuit bottoms.
Anyone who may have witnessed any suspicious activity or may have seen a silver vehicle or a white van or any other suspicious vehicles which may have been in the area is asked to contact 101 quoting reference 97 04/04/2017. Further, if anyone observed a silver car in the area of Spelga Dam, and any males on foot in the area overnight, to contact police likewise. Or, if someone would prefer to provide information without giving their details they can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers and speak to them anonymously.”
