A Thirty year old man is due to appear before Newry Magistrates Court today charged with numerous offences including aggravated burglary & stealing, taking a vehicle without authority and four counts of burglary.
It is thought the charges relate to burglaries in Newry, Dungannon, Omagh and Monaghan in May and June this year.
In an unconnected incident Detectives in Newry are also appealing for information following an assault in the Loanda Crescent area of Newry on the evening of Wednesday 31 October.
At approximately 7.20pm, it is reported that three masked men knocked on the door of a house and then entered. A man in the house was assaulted and required hospital treatment on a head injury which is not believed to be life threatening.
