Write a commentDetectives from PSNI's Serious Crime Branch and officers from Newry Neighbourhood Policing Team conducted searches in the Derrybeg and Main Avenue areas on Thursday, 29 November as part of an investigation into dissident republican terrorist activity.
A number of items were taken away for examination and a 29 year old man was arrested and taken to Antrim Serious Crime Suite for questioning.
