Write a commentPolice are appealing for information following the theft of parts from a digger which was parked in a sports ground in the Dorsy Road area near Cullyhanna.
Sometime between 4.30pm on Saturday 13 February and 4.30pm on Sunday 14 February, a number of parts including orange ram linkages, an orange bucket ram, an orange lift ram, 2 orange side panels and all windows were stolen.
Constable Chris Wolfe said: “It would have taken some time to remove all of these items and the people involved would have needed some sort of large vehicle to be able to transport all them. I would ask anyone who may have noticed any suspicious activity in the area, or who knows anything about this theft, to contact Newtownhamilton Police Station on the non-emergency number 101, quoting reference number 884 of 14/02/16. Or if someone would prefer to provide information without giving their details, they can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers and speak to them anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
