Write a commentDetectives in Newry are appealing for information following an armed robbery on the evening of Friday 7 December.
At approximately 7pm two men, both dressed in navy hooded tops with scarfs over their mouths, walked into a financial premises in the Main Street area of Forkhill and demanded money. One of the men was armed with a suspected firearm, the other was armed with a hatchet. There were no injuries in this incident.
The men made off with a sum of cash. They are believed to have been in a blue Toyota Avensis.
