Write a commentA 50 year old man has been arrested by police in the Hilltown area this morning on suspicion of theft, going equipped for theft and fraud by false representation.
Sergeant Paul Murphy said: “We received a report of a van with a southern registration being driven in the Hilltown area earlier this morning. Officers attended and spoke to the driver who purported to be from a charity involved in recycling clothes. A number of police checks were carried out and the man was subsequently arrested and taken into custody where he remains assisting officers with their enquiries.”
