Constable Caoimhe McCaughey said: “On Saturday evening, 4 July, a green Ifor Williams horsebox with a silver roof was taken from a yard on Hilltown Road, Newry.
A white people carrier and an old style red campervan/horse lorry were observed acting suspiciously in the area around the time the horsebox was taken. Four saddles, a pressure washer, a mobile welder, a socket set and two white and black Jack Russell pups were also taken from a shed on the property.
“We would like to hear from anyone who has information in relation to this incident. We can be contacted in Warrenpoint on 101, quoting ref: 837 050715.”
