Write a commentPolice are appealing for information following a burglary in Killeavey on Wednesday.
Sometime between 6.30pm and 9.20pm on Wednesday, 27 April, entry was gained to a house in Forest Park and a handbag was taken.
The handbag contained a sum of cash and was recovered in Foughart, County Louth. The cash and bank card were missing from the bag.
Police would like to hear from anyone who has information in relation to this incident. They are particularly keen to hear about the movements of a silver Peugeot car that was seen in the Killeavy area around the time of the burglary.
