Write a commentPolice in Newry are appealing for information following a burglary on Ballard Road, outside Lislea. Some time between 9.30am on Sunday, 10 March and 9.40am on Monday, 11 March, entry was gained to an outbuilding.
An attempt was made to steal a tractor however thieves were unable to take the vehicle. Thieves stole two rear wheels and the front right wheel of the tractor along with other items. It is believed that a vehicle would have been needed to remove the wheels from the scene and police are appealing to anyone who noticed vehicles or people in the area during this time to contact them in Newry on 0845 600 8000.
