A 21 year old man was charged with burglary and going equipped in relation to an incident at outbuildings on Longfield Road, Mullaghabawn on Tuesday afternoon, 6 August. He appeared before Newry Magistrates' Court on 7 August and was remanded in custody.
A 37 year old male was also arrested on suspicion of burglary and was later released on bail pending further enquiries.
Police are appealing to anyone who noticed a number of males at outbuildings on Longfield Road, Mullaghbawn around 2.30pm on Tuesday, 6 August, to contact them. They would also like to hear from anyone who observed a number of males run through fields in the area around the same time. Police in Newry can be contacted on 0845 600 8000.
