At 3.40am police received a report of a silver Volkswagen Polo on fire in a car park in New Street. NIFRS attended and extinguished the fire.
At 3.55am it was reported that the windows of a blue Renault MPV car, parked in Basin Walk, were smashed.
Police are keen to speak to a male who was in the area of Basin Walk around this time on Friday morning, 23 November. He is described as being 6ft tall, of medium build and was wearing a blue jacket with white stripes.
