Yesterday's Ulster Senior Football Championship Semi Final between Armagh and Down won't enter the record books for the most skilful game of the year but it did have its fair bit of excitement, not least extra time when both teams went in level with all to play for. Down managed two goals in normal time with Armagh unable to find the back of the net on this occasion.
Most of the four final minutes were spent passing the ball back and forward by Armagh before a pass came to Jason Duffy who managed to put Armagh ahead by a point. Next there was a free that started as an Armagh free and ended up a Down free. It was a scoreable position but Down's Oisin Savage sent it wide, this ending a chance for extra time to change the outcome.
Final score Armagh 0- 13 Down 2-6
