Tullach Sarain 0-02 Cor Fhuinseoige 2-10
Our U16’s bounced back from the defeat to Middletown with a comprehensive win away at Tullysaran last Saturday afternoon. This was a crucial game as victory here ensured our place in the League playoff final. Early scores from Conor Rice and Lee Courtney settled us down well but in the same period we rattled 2 shots off the Tullysaran crossbar but further scores from Declan Loye and Matthew Loughran had us firmly in the driving seat 1-04 to no score at half time.
On the resumption the home side now playing down the hill pushed hard for scores and were rewarded with 2 good scores from play. The halftime introduction of Caolan Marron proved to be a catalyst up front as he continually tested the home sides defence with great running, hitting 2 points from play and setting up Conor Loye for our second goal which sealed the victory. Great defensive displays from Aaron Cinnamond and Breandain McCorry kept their opponents scoreless and at Midfield Ryan Courtney was superb in his distribution and defensive work to ensure we made it through to the League final playoff.

WEEKLY MATCH REPORTS 17th September
An Port Mor v CORRINSHEGO 0-05 v 3-09 Thomas Davis win league title!
The final league game of the season brought what it deserved for Corrinshego under 14s, an All County League Title.
The game saw two red cards, both in the second period, but this was not a dirty game. It was however a physical game and whereas previously the U14s may have struggled to match bigger and taller teams, this was not one of those rare occasions.
The manner in which the team played football, especially in the first period, was the foundation from which Corrinshego were able to win this league title. The first half only yielded one goal for Corrinshego and it was needed, for their point taking was a little wayward to begin with, until scores from Conor Jennings and Ryan Gray settled the nerves. These were swiftly followed by points from Adam Loughran and a fine score from Shane Keenan, who ran two thirds of the pitch to split the posts.
Midfielder Caolan Marron took his time finding his scoring boots before finally adding two points before the referee blew the whistle for half time with Corrinshego in front 1-6 to 0-1.

Middletown 1-10 Cor Fhuinseoige 1-08
The second half started with the opposition scoring a brace of points, but it wasn’t long before forward Ryan Gray hit back with a goal and a point. The An Port Mor team had to push forward and cranked up the pressure with high balls into the box, but again and again Captain fantastic Declan Loye caught ball after ball to the roar from the crowd. This enabled the team to break up the field and punish the opposition with Adam Loughran adding a point and Ryan Gray, rippling the net with the killer final blow.
The team lost the point scoring of midfield player Caolan Marron, but it did not affect the final outcome in a game dominated by Corrinshego and in particular man of the match, Captain, Declan Loye.

Corrinshego under 16’s suffered their first league defeat away to Middletown last Thursday night on the scoreline 1-10 to 1- 08. There was a never a kick of the ball between these sides throughout the game and it seemed like we were heading for a draw but 2 very soft frees in the dying minutes proved to be the difference. Middletown played the first half with a very strong breeze and immediately hit a point from play but our lads really worked hard keeping possession and worked themselves into great scoring positions where Conor Rice was on top form hitting 5 from frees and 1 from play to bring us in at halftime only 1 point in arrears 0-07 to 0-06.
On the restart we immediately hit the equaliser but both sides were really up for it playing great attacking football and on the night both defences were on top with Dean Faloon, Breandain McCorry, Lee Courtney and Aaron Cinnamond all excellent winning their personal battles but Middletown hit a real poachers goal to put us on the back foot. We were pushing hard for scores and a great block by corner forward Declan Loye turned the game on its head, by winning possession of the ball only to be fouled on the edge of the square. Young Declan then buried the subsequent free to the corner of the net. On the very next attack, Ryan Courtney hit a 50 yard point to put us ahead for the first time with 5 minutes left to play. But it was shortlived as soft frees handed the game to the home side and our first league defeat this year.
SENIOR FOOTBALL
The Seniors took on Poyntzpass on Sunday 16th September 2012. They got the two points needed to qualify for the Armagh All County Division 3 Shield. Well done boys.
