Under 16 County League Final
Craobh Rua were defeated by Cuchullains in the County League Final by a 2-12 to 0-13 scoreline.
Craobh Rua held a slender halftime 0-6 to 0-5 halftime lead but wind advantage and the advantage of an extra man after a Craobh Rua red card proved to be decisive factors for the Cuhullains team. Both teams showed fine skills and commitment. Congratulations to Cuhullains on their victory
U-16 O’Keefe Shield Final
Armagh 4-4 Roscommon 0-8
Armagh were the winners of the O Keefe Shield after a fine win over Roscommon. The game was played in Ballyshannon
Daithi Mc Cloy and Oisin O’Hare from Craobh Rua played their part in for the County not only in the final win over Roscommon but also in earlier games against Donegal and Mayo. Comghairdeas to both the young hurlers and all those involved.
Under 14 County Representation
Patrick McVerry, Conor Reavey, Brian McCann and Jody Crilly from Craobh Rua were part of the Arnagh team who participated in the All Ireland U14 blitz in Abbotstown . The lyoing hurlers were involved in games against Sligo, Donegal and Wicklow. Well done to all involved particular our Clubs representatives.
Under 8 & 10 Blitz
The Armagh County Board are running an U8 & U10 blitz this Saturday 1st September in the Athletic Grounds. This is a great chance for our young hurlers to experience playing at the historic Athletic Grounds.
Coaches will confirm all travel arrangements times during the week.

Street Collection
Craobh Rua Camlocha held its Summer Street Collection in Camloch village on Saturday the 18th Of August. Thanks to all who helped with the collection.All proceeds from our fund raising initiatives help ensure the sustainability of our hurling club and the promotion of this great game in our area. An Coiste Craobh Rua Camlocha deeply appreciate the support of all. The amount raised was £968.
Hooley Around Cooley Cycle
Our annual "Hooley Around Cooley" Cycle will take place on Sunday the 30thSeptember. Once again this year, local company "Euro Services" are supporting the event. All are welcome to participate in this enjoyable cycle around some of Ireland's most beautiful scenery.
