Senior / Minor

Craobh Rua senior hurling team fell to Lurgan Sean Treacys last week. Training continues on Thursday nights at 7pm.

Craobh Rua will meet  the winners of the Middletown v Killeavy semi final match in the Final which will be played on The 17th of June. 

 Underage

Craobh Rua would like to thank all those who helped organise and participate in the U8/U10 Blitz competition last weekend. Teams from Middletown na Fianna, Killeavy, Sean Treacy's Lurgan and Keady joined the young hurlers of Craobh Rua in an enjoyable and colourful sporting spectacle. Once again well done all involved.

Craobh Rua Under 10 hurlers showed fine skills in their games whilst at Under 8 level there  were some great performances, notably Ben O'Hare in goals, Jenson Lee in the forwards and cousins Eoaghan Garvey and Joe Mc Creesh.

The Craobh Rua U8 team :-Ben O'Hare, Jenson Lee, Michael Hughes, Eoaghan Garvey, Michael Sloan, Shane Philips, Seamus Cooney, Caoimhe O'Hare, Katie O'Brien, Joseph Short,Tiarnan O'Hare, Finn Elshaw.

Our Underage teams continue to train on the allocated evenings. Training Times : Under 6s Craobh Rua Pitch Saturday mornings 11am to 12 noon:  Under 8/10 Monday night 7-8pm : Under 12/14/16 Wednesday nights 7.30pm to 8.45pm.  Can parents/ guardians ensure that all young children participating have appropriate footwear and clothes wear.

All Ireland   Feile Visitors

 Craobh Rua will be happy to welcome London Feile team as our guests over the weekend  of the 20th of June until Sunday the 22nd of June. There is great excitement within the Club and locality about the visit and we hope to ensure that our young guests, their mentors and supporters have a truly memorable time. Further information of the visit will be available soon.

Welcome:

Many in Craobh Rua were happy to welcome former Club underage hurler & Committee member Conor Mc Ginn, now living in London, back to the Club at last weekends Blitz. Conor who is currently the Chairperson of Eire Óg Football Club based in London,had his newly born son Tomàs with him.
