Athbhliain Faoi Mhaise Daoibh
We would like to wish all our players, members, sponsors and supporters of our Club aHappy New Year
Underage Activities
Prior to the Christmas break over 70 Primary 5 children from four of our local schools were treated to a fantastic mornings hurling at Silverbridge GFCs indoor hall.
This was the end product of a club coaching strategy aimed at increasing participation levels and the coaching program was very well implemented by Armagh Coaching Officer James Mc Kernan.

Feedback from the young hurlers who participated indicated that they have indeed enjoyed their opportunity to learn the skills of the game. Hopefully we will and see some of these new learners come along to club sessions when they start back early next week.
Craobh Rua Under 10 manager Joe Mc Eldowney took time out to come and chat with the young hurlers, provide some information on the club and give out some rewards as a treat for the efforts of the children.
We would like to extend a míle buíochas to each of the schools, their teachers and James Mc Kernan for their support in this initiative and also to Silverbridge for the use of their excellent facilities.
Underage Training/Coaching
Our underage training/coaching is due to begin next week and members will be around the schools this week to update our notice boards and give out information of our training schedule for the January to Easter period.
Teams will also be notified through text lists and parents are asked to also keep an eye on our Facebook and Twitter handels for further details.
Senior Hurling
Senior hurling players have been contacted in regards to participation this year and will continue with their pre season endeavours this coming Tuesday night 8:15pm at the clubhouse.
