Write a commentHappy New Year from all at Cumann Pheadair Naofa
We would like to take this opportunity to wish all our members, their families and friends a very happy and Holy New Year. We have had a tremendous year both on and off the pitch and it is wonderful to see such enthusiasm from our playing and non playing members all year. It is also endearing to see so many dedicated people who make this club tick over and it is a continuing hope that more and more of our members take responsibility for our ever increasing club affairs and how the club is run for the incoming year.
We would like to extend our seasons greeting to everyone in the parish, wherever in the world you may be and we wish you, your family and friends a happy, bright and blue New Year.
Club players continue to represent County in McKenna Cup
Ruairi McCormack and Paddy Murdock both made a start for the men in red and black and both contributed well to the first outing of the competition. On the panel is also Cormac McCartan and Gary McMahon.
Gaelic for Mother’s and Others
A crisp sunny Saturday afternoon saw the Gaelic 4 Mothers & Others crew at Moygannon for their first post-Christmas session. Keen to blow away the cobwebs, the ladies were, as always, enthusiastic & approached the drills & games with gusto & good spirits. As always with the G4MO sessions, laughter was ever present. The ladies finished off the session with some well-earned refreshments. New recruits are always very welcome, so why not come along & have a go?
Annual Cumann Pheadair Naofa Membership Registration
The Annual Cumann Pheadair Naofa Membership Registration takes place online for adult and juvenile members. This is a key date in the Club’s annual calendar, whereby existing underage members and new underage members need to register with Cumann Pheadair Naofa for the new season for all game codes: Gaelic Football, Hurling, Camogie, Ladies Gaelic Football and Handball, in addition to all cultural activities: dancing, drama and music .
The season for the juvenile sections will commence on these coming weeks, it is therefore essential that all juvenile members are registered to ensure that our young people can actively participate in the new strength and conditioning sessions.
Registration can be completed online via the following link RETURNTOPLAY.GAA.IE and by following our user registration guide attached here: BIT.LY
