Write a commentOn Saturday night at 7.00pm Down play Dublin in the Allianz Football League in Pairc Esler Newry. To ensure the safety of all patrons attending the game we would ask that people take into account the following traffic arrangements that have been put in place.
There will be no parking on the Newry-Warrenpoint dual carriageway.
Match parking will be available in the Greenbank Industrial Estate.
Match parking will also be available at the Albert Basin site. This location is on Dublin Bridge and is only a 10 minute walk from the ground and there will be supervised parking on site.
Match parking will also be available at The Quays shopping centre which is only a 10 minute walk from the ground.
Newry City Centre also provides many locations e.g. North Street car park, Water Street car park, all of which are no more than 10-15 minutes walking distance from the ground.
Post match – all traffic travelling South will be directed along Kilmorey Street. There will be no entry to or from River Street post match.
Post match traffic leaving Greenbank and the ABP car park will be delayed until all pedestrian traffic has safely left the area.
Post match traffic coming from the Warrenpoint greater South Down area should be aware that delays can be expected from 8.30pm on Saturday night and alternative routes should be considered.
Post match traffic seeking to go to Mayobridge, Hilltown, Castlewellan should consider travelling by Warrenpoint/Rostrevor.
